Wheeee!

I'm not sure how reported this will be outside of California (since it was only a 5.6) but we had a good ol' quake this evening.

This was easily the biggest one I've felt. Even though it was based out of the San Jose area (roughly 30 minutes south) it shook the building for a good 10/15 noticeable seconds.

I love the title of this post.

I was in the shower and didn't realize we were having an earthquake until the last few seconds. Ahh, fault lines.

When I was in the shower this morning, I actually thought "I wonder if an earthquake would be more or less noticeable in the shower..."

Mystery: solved!

I read about this actually... but only because I was reading about the guy who killed himself on the tracks at a BART station. There was an article about the quake in the sidebar.
